Iguana regular DJ Spliffy B started DJing at squat parties in 2000 around Dorset and Hampshire, such as Hursley Fields. He then started playing in clubs in 2002. Between 2002 and 2008 Spliffy was playing in various places mainly in squat parties around UK. In that time he did play a few sets in Germany, and Belgium supporting international names such as Chris Liebing, Joey Beltram, Nicky Blackmarket & Mampi Swift

Between 2008 and 2011 due to personal reasons he only played a few sets, one of which was on Weymouth Beach.

In 2011 he played a set in Netherlands. Since then Spliffy B has started promoting and DJing again. Spliffy B is He has also been ‘Special guest’ at the highly regarded Smash Techno (November 2013), Club 414, Brixton. and has recently played in Homegrown, in Bar Iguana & Facebar

He promoted and played at Liquid Filth at Bar Iguana, Reading. Spliffy B has supported several International DJs\MCs, most recently: Sterling Moss, Rachel Rackitt, Gizelle Rebel Yelle, Scotty, Joe Peng and highly regarded DJs on the UK underground scene like Darc Marc, Trooper, Birinight, Acid Steve, Miro, Batman, Artur, aka R2, The Drop since 2011 Spliffy B has played many clubs around Reading and these include Bar Iguana, Facebar, Brasserie La Passerelle\Bridges, Global Cafe\RISC, Up The Junction

Spliffy B is now on BPM Sounds & Soundscape Internet Radio Stations. Spliffy B has done regular and guest shows on UK Dance FM, Real Music Radio, Southern Hardcore Vibes, Happy Ravers, Blast Radio

Began Singing at a young age in church services, concerts and crusades at the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Greenwich, London.

Whilst Still in Full-Time Education Wayeta Became a Member of the Angelic Voice Choir. Back in the Day, when the Choir appeared on ‘People Get Ready’ with the Williams Brothers.

Following her success as a Group and Choir Member in London, Ipswich and Cambridge, Wayeta Began to sing Solo in 1999.

Appearances include:

★Avon & Somerset Constabulary Diversity Day
★International womens’ Week Celebrations (Hackney)

Wayeta held a residency at THE ARCHES JAZZ CLUB & RESTAURANT
And has also appeared at THE JAZZ CAFÉ, Madjeski Stadium, (READING), Wolsey Theatre & Ipswich Corn Exchange (2006), Passion TV (2008) As well performing at various venues around Reading, Basingstoke, Windsor and London.

★Host of ‘THE GOSPEL JAM’ Radio show ICR FM 1999-2001
★Sang ‘Amazing Grace’ with LCGC on the Choirs Ipswich leg of their 2001.
★Wayeta appeared as a session musician on the Album ‘Fil the Soul’ by Fil Straughan
★Singing at a Special meeting held in Reading in honour of Jesse Jackson
Wayeta is a Singer Songwriter and has recorded vocals for various Gospel, House, Garage and Soul Projects.

David Brewster, and the Faze 3 Steel/Reggae function band, are a professional group of entertainers with over 20 years experience in the music and entertainment business.

David Brewster, started his music career as a drummer, performing and entertaining in The Middle East, North Africa, Japan, The Caribbean, Europe, and throughout the UK, and he has gained a reputation as a lively entertainer.

David Brewster later progressed onto entertaining audiences singing and playing the steel pans. As an entertainer with the Faze 3 function band, David has been performing and entertaining at functions such as private parties, weddings, conferences, charity functions, award ceremonies, corporate events, and Christmas parties.

Over the years David Brewster, and Faze 3 function band have entertained many celebrity guests including, HRH Princess Anne, Rolf Harris, Kenny Lynch, and Esther Rantzen to name a few

David Brewster and the Faze 3 function band can be booked to entertain you as a steel band, or a reggae band, performing, Bob Marley and UB40 covers along with other popular hits.

On 1st October the fantastic MAJESTIC will be joining Spliffy B for a night of Reggae & Ska! This is looking to be a killer event! As always Spliffy B will be DJing The event will be at Bar Iguana, St Marys Butts, Reading, RG1 2LN

The Majestic

THE MAJESTIC…. was the creation of Faada Ras in the early eighties. Faada had been DJing for Sound System Imperial I, and decided to create a band to cultivate his singing prowess. Faada being an accomplished drummer set off looking for a bassist and found him in the form of Tony Alli, who had been playing bass for a local reggae band. The two would rehearse in Faada’s flat, a few drummers later, a keyboard player, guitarists and percussionist and Majestic hit the road.

EARLY YEARS

Majestic were building a reputation of being a powerful, very visual roots rock reggae band, playing their first show supporting one of the biggest psychedelic rock bands in Here & Now. Supporting other reggae artists such as Aswad, Misty in Roots and Mighty Diamonds to name a few, brought them to forefront. One of the bands many highlights of this era was the legendary Stonehenge Festival in 1983, sharing the stage with acts such as Hawkwind in front of over 60,000 festival dwellers.

PRESENTLY

Faada teamed up with Tony again in 2005, and with some hired help started touring under a new name, but they didn’t feel the old vibes or the new name leading Faada to go back to his studio, working on various projects with known and unknown artists and Tony playing in various bands. In 2010 after a chance meeting with the renowned Jimmy Page an instant bond was formed, this got his musical pulse racing again. Through Jimmy came the seasoned pro Russell Raisey, upon finding a classy new drummer in Sam Ferrara and Tony only a phone call away the latest incarnation of THE MAJESTIC was born. With over 30 shows and festivals in their first 8 months, Majestic are also adding hardest working to their list of superlatives, currently working on a new album while continuing to thrill audiences with their brand of Roots Rock Reggae.
